Meet Friends for a Drink at the Next Farm Friday Happy Hour

Up Top Acres takes the conventional idea of rural farming and shapes it to fit an urban setting. The organization quite literally puts farmable acres "up top," transforming unused rooftops in DC into urban farms. The Farm at 55 M Street is one of them, a mere block from the Nationals Park, and it's hosting Farm Friday Happy Hour on select Fridays through October 12th.
From 5 to 8 p.m. on the designated evenings, head to the stunning event space at The Farm at 55 M for panoramic views of the city and a few drinks with friends. The bar will serve up wine and beer, along with a few snacks, but you're also invited to BYO bites if you like. Each evening has some kind of special twist—like free mini bowls from Cava on September 14th and live music on September 28th. Admission is $10 for one and $15 for two, which includes a drink per person.
