Going to the movies has been complicated over the past year. The DC Potter Movie Experience 2021 is bringing D.C. audiences back in front of the big screen in a safe way—and only for a few magical films. This March, The Bullpen at Half Street Fairgrounds is hosting groups of socially distanced Potterheads in its outdoor space for screenings of three Harry Potter films.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban are all on the itinerary now through March 14th. Snag a ticket ($15) to your favorite movie, grab a mask, and come to The Bullpen for the flick. Every group gets its own picnic table that is spaced at least six feet apart from their neighbors, and wait staff will grab your drinks and appetizers for you (as well as complimentary popcorn). Masks are required whenever you aren’t seated at your own table.
